A leader, an entrepreneur, an experienced consultant, and a stylist driven by a love of all things beauty, fashion, design, and the latest trends, our director, Monica Sood, is a creative thinker with extensive experience in building, managing, and coaching beauty and fashion students in India and globally.

With her commitment to setting the best quality benchmarks for upskilling youngsters, she has been instrumental in the evolution of Orane’s highly successful beauty business, spearheading the technical vertical for over a decade now. She is a Certified Examiner with the Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology, India (CIDESCO), a BWSSC Trained Expert, and a Level 3 CIBTAC (UK) qualified Trainer. She has recently earned the rank of International Examiner with the world’s No. 1 Beauty Accreditation Body, CIDESCO (Switzerland).

She approaches her work with a renewed sense of purpose. Professionally trained with a Diploma in Fashion Design at the prestigious Pearl Institute, she is highly passionate about her work. Her expression of creativity and excellent business acumen, combined with an eye for detail and a go-getter attitude, have been powering the dreams of hundreds of students. Her interest in fashion was sparked by her father, a highly regarded textile business tycoon, after she began getting involved, fine-tuning her skills in designing and weaving woollens and apparel for his business, eventually working her way up the ladder and becoming a celebrated women’s leader and industry professional. With her new stint with Orane’s fashion and design business, her belief is to transform the passion of youth into a profession that earns those rewards and recognition around the world.
